What does MiweMake do?
MiweMake coordinates custom CNC machining, 3D printing and sheet metal projects. We connect your requirements with suitable manufacturing partners and coordinate the agreed production, inspection and delivery scope.
Can individuals order a single part?
Yes. Designers, independent brands, studios, makers, businesses and individuals can request a review, including one-off parts and small batches. Setup, material and international delivery affect whether an order is economical.
Where is MiweMake based?
MiweMake is operated by Miwe S&T Co., Ltd., established in 2021. Miwe Headquarters is in Xiamen, China. The Miwe Pearl River Delta Service Center in Huizhou brings together manufacturing resources in Huizhou and Dongguan, alongside manufacturing relationships in Xiamen.
Which files should I prepare?
For CNC, start with STEP or STP and a dimensioned PDF for critical features. For 3D printing, share STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP with dimensions and units. For sheet metal, include the finished geometry, thickness and bends, as well as any DXF or DWG flat profile.
How large can the attachments be?
Include up to 5 files with a combined size of 18 MB or less. For larger files, share an HTTPS download link and provide access to the files you want reviewed.
Can I start without a CAD model?
You can begin with a sketch, dimensions, a reference or an existing part. If CAD modelling or design development is needed, its scope, ownership, fees and deliverables are agreed separately before manufacturing.
Can a project combine several processes?
Yes. A project may combine a printed shell, a machined interface and a folded metal support. Include the complete assembly and the interfaces that need to fit so the processes can be reviewed together.
How are tolerances and inspection agreed?
Identify critical dimensions, datums, fits and cosmetic surfaces. The achievable requirements, inspection method, sampling and any records are confirmed for the specific part before production.
How do I get a useful quote?
Send the intended use, files and revision, quantity, material and finish preferences, critical requirements, delivery country and postal code, and target date. Tell us which details are essential and where alternatives can be considered.
When are price and delivery confirmed?
Price, payment terms, manufacturing time, inspection and shipping are confirmed in the project scope. Destination taxes and duties should be stated separately. A target date is a request until it is accepted in writing.
How should I share confidential drawings?
Contact info@miwemake.com before sending sensitive files to agree confidentiality and any NDA requirements. Drawings needed for fulfilment may be shared with the production partners involved in the agreed project.
